We are seeking a Life Sciences Material Handler for a travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky
The main material handler duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and picking merchandise according to specific customer requirements. As a Material Handler, you'll also monitor inventory and communicate any shortages.
Facility: Kindeva Drug Delivery - Lexington (FKA Summit Biosciences Inc)
Assignment Type: Travel - Standard
Contract Length: 23 weeks
Shift: 0800 to 1630
Hours per Week: 40.00
Work Style: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy
- Prepare orders by processing requests: pull accurate materials and place in appropriate area for customer pick up or delivery
- Maintain inventory controls through minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
- Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
