Description:
The Lab Technicians is assigned to perform duties in either the QC Lab or the R&D Lab. The Lab Technician / QC is responsible for testing and inspecting raw materials and products at various stages of production to ensure that required specifications are met. The Lab Technician / R&D is responsible for assisting the Chemist/Senior Chemists in new product development, product maintenance, raw material evaluations, competitive evaluations, and general testing.
Qualifications
Associates Degree, Bachelors Preferred in Biology or Chemistry, 0-2 years of work experience in a lab, Ablility to work in a hands on fast paced lab, Good with taking direction and working with a team on projects
Responsibilities
Formulate samples using standard formulations, Evaluate computer readings and make necessary adjustments, Perform a variety of tests, Clean lab equipment and make sure there is no contamination from one lab run to another, Monitor lab runs for quality, Test lab samples
