Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Warehouse/Manufacturing Cafeteria. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment. The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning dishes, kitchen utensils, and food preparation equipment, ensuring all items are sanitized and ready for use. Ideal candidates will have experience in food handling, cleaning, and kitchen operations within hospitality, restaurant, catering, or hotel settings. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during meal service
• Support food preparation activities as needed, including basic food handling and setup
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Ensure all food service areas comply with sanitation regulations and safety protocols
• Assist with catering or banquet setups when required
• Follow proper procedures for handling food and cleaning supplies to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
• Experience with bussing, food preparation, or kitchen cleaning is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a warehouse or manufacturing cafeteria setting
• Prior culinary or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
