Totally Smashed LLC is a fully mobile kitchen serving up smash burgers across the greater Florida Pan Handle area! We are Based out of Fort Walton Beach Florida. We don't park in one spot. Instead, we bring the flavor directly to the biggest festivals, local breweries, concerts, and high-energy pop-up events. We are looking for reliable, flexible crew members who love the excitement of the live event scene! We service events as far east as Jacksonville/Daytona and as far west as New Orleans, as far South as Orlando and as far north as Birmingham & Atlanta.
Job Summary:
Looking for a pool of applicants to help us work multiple food events throughout the year(s) in the following areas: (Gig Work/As Needed/Weekend Events/Flexible)
- Cash Register Personnel
- Crew Member Personnel
- Entry Level Prep/Line Cooks
Job Type: Part-Time, Weekend Festival Events (Days Can Vary), Flexible Schedule
Job Responsibilities: The job entails for our Food Truck Crew Member to:
- Some experience POS systems and cash registry experience.
- Prep food, cook on the grill and/or fryer, and, but not limited to, preparing orders.
- Travel to venues and help set up the trailer, prep, and the ordering window area.
- Greet festival-goers and brewery crowds warmly and explain our menu.
- Manage the crowd by keeping the ordering line organized and moving smoothly.
- Call out completed orders and hand off food with accuracy.
- Be able to operate in fast-paced environments during spikes in orders.
- Help pack up the external gear and clean up when the event ends.
- Reliable, and help wherever needed in the trailer.
- Be a team player and follow the directions of the supervisors.
Schedule:
- This is a prime weekend gig perfect for supplemental income.
- Shifts are primarily Friday through Sunday. Some Events might be longer days
- Weekdays are possible for one day events at bars/pubs/breweries/hospitals/military bases
- Expect high-energy event days up to 6 to 12 hours per shift.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- High School Graduate.
- Current college students or recent college graduates.
- A valid Florida Food Handler’s Certificate is a major plus (or willingness to get one quickly).
- Must have reliable transportation to meet the food trailer at various event venues.
- Some work experience in the food industry or a food truck/trailer is a major plus.
Daily Pay Rate & Pay Outs:
- Daily Pay Rate can be negotiable based on experience.
- Company check payouts- cash tips
- When possible- Cash payouts, cash tips, Zelle payments
- Reimbursements of travel and expenses when appropriate and as needed (Gas/Hotel)
