About the Role:

The Dryfall Painter is responsible for applying specialized dryfall coatings to ceilings and walls in commercial and industrial settings to provide durable, high-quality finishes that minimize cleanup and maintenance. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a painter, preferably with dryfall or industrial coatings.
• Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and working at heights.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in industrial painting or related trade.
• Experience working in commercial or industrial construction environments.
• Training in hazardous materials handling and environmental compliance.
• Ability to operate lifts or scaffolding safely.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper adhesion of dryfall coatings.
• Mix and apply dryfall paint using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor and adjust spray equipment settings to achieve consistent coverage and texture.
• Maintain a clean work area by managing overspray and ensuring proper disposal of paint materials and waste.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and make touch-ups as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed for project documentation.
