Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development, incorporating elements of literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles.
- Create enchanting lesson plans that integrate storytelling, arts and crafts, movement, and sensory activities to captivate young learners’ imaginations.
- Work closely with children to support their social-emotional growth, behavior management, and overall well-being through positive reinforcement and personalized attention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining organization, safety protocols, and engaging routines that promote independent exploration.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and areas for development in a clear and supportive manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood education trends, classroom management techniques, and innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education needs, literacy education, Montessori methods, and standardized testing preparation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners including toddlers and children with special needs.
- Prior experience with classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred.
- Certification or training in early intervention or early childhood education is a plus; familiarity with teaching physical education and tutoring is advantageous.
