Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
• Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support store operations by managing inventory levels, assisting with stock organization, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-maintained.

Skills

• Previous retail sales experience, with a focus on customer engagement and upselling techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively.
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery retail environments is advantageous.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
