Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Wireless Sales Associate to join our Total Wireless (Verizon) retail team. The ideal candidate must be familiar with smartphones, prepaid wireless plans, accessories, and Verizon/Total Wireless products and be comfortable explaining features, pricing, and promotions to customers.
This role is sales-focused and requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to deliver a professional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Sell Total Wireless (Verizon) prepaid wireless plans
- Activate new lines, upgrades, ports, and device swaps
- Educate customers on phones, plans, promotions, and features
- Demonstrate smartphones, tablets, hotspots, and accessories
- Sell and upsell accessories, protection plans, and add-ons
- Troubleshoot basic device and service issues
- Accurately process transactions using POS and carrier systems
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully merchandised sales floor
- Follow all carrier, company, and compliance policies
- Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale
Requirements
- Prior experience in wireless retail or mobile phone sales (required)
- Familiarity with Total Wireless and/or Verizon products, plans, and devices (required)
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Comfortable working with POS systems and activation platforms
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Verizon prepaid or Total Wireless activations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Proven sales performance or commission-based experience
- Experience selling accessories and add-ons
