Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand their preferences, answer questions, and recommend suitable options.
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers and managing cash registers with precision.
- Perform retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns to ensure accurate transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail products, financial services, and store promotions to provide informed assistance.
- Support loan processing and collections activities by explaining financial options and following up on outstanding accounts when necessary.
- Enter customer data into point-of-sale systems efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Handle retail store operations such as cash handling, cash management, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with retail lending activities by explaining loan options and processing basic loan applications or inquiries.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet sales goals and improve store performance.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for customer service is essential.
- Familiarity with banking or financial services environments is a plus, especially related to retail lending or loan collections.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and data entry tasks.
- Experience with cash drawer handling, cashiering, or cashier software is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for processing transactions quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in cash management and financial software use.
