Total Wine and More is seeking a Sr. Associate of Events who will play a key role in managing our vendor-driven events and activations within our store. This role works with internal partners on the Wine and Spirits team, as well as directly with our external partners to bring classes & activations to life through organization and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects. Additional responsibilities include daily administration of the Events Management Platform. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Events.

Total Wine and More is seeking a Sr. Associate of Events who will play a key role in managing our vendor-driven events and activations within our store. This role works with internal partners on the Wine and Spirits team, as well as directly with our external partners to bring classes & activations to life through organization and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects. Additional responsibilities include daily administration of the Events Management Platform. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Events.
You will
- Develop and project manage in‑store vendor classes and activations (including celebrity appearances, bottle signings, and tasting bar takeovers) in partnership with wine and spirits suppliers.
- Facilitate event execution with stores, vendors, and external partners, and coordinate marketing efforts, inventory needs, and labor resources.
- Assess, track, and communicate class fill rates, run of show expectations and event performance through reporting and weekly store communications.
- Maintain daily administration of the Events Management Platform, including uploading events to the website, resolving technical issues, and identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the store and customer experience.
- Create and present events‑related updates, insights, and reporting to stakeholders using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, and data import and cleaning.
- High attention to detail with the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions‑oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 1–4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in retail, events, or customer‑facing environments preferred.
