The Order Picker will retrieve stock to fill service orders and transport items to the parts department for packing.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up parts at various vendors as needed.
- Delivers parts to field technicians at various job site locations.
- Assist team in ensuring parts department is clean and organized.
- Assist the service department by moving equipment as needed and deliver fleet vehicles to repair facilities.
- Pick up and/or deliver parts to designated accounts when instructed by parts and service departments.
- Assist with the cleanliness of the parts area by disposing of used boxes, trash, sweeping floor and dusting parts bins daily.
- Assist in keeping the shop organized.
- Assists in moving and restructuring organization of stockroom to make space for new inventory.
- Run bin “spot checks” as directed.
- Pulling and group orders for Service Road Team
- Putting away stock item and updating bin locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift boxes and other heavy items on a regular basis.
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
- Strong reading and communication skills.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a current drivers license
- Ability to function in work environment with moderate noise level from several sources creating constant activity.
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using our daily checklist to ensure that vehicle are properly maintained according to manufacture recommendations
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Pay Range is $20-$25/hr
Salary : $20 - $25
