Warehouse Logistics Equipment Operator

Pay: $17.00 per hour (up to $21.00 with production incentives)

Location: Monroe Township,New Jersey

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Summary:
Join our growing warehouse and distribution center team as a Machine Operator / Furniture Order Picker. In this role, you’ll operate stand-up forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and turret trucks to pick, move, and prepare furniture orders for shipment. This position is ideal for warehouse associates, order selectors, and distribution center employees with experience in supply chain operations who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate warehouse equipment (stand-up forklift, order pickers, reach trucks, turret trucks) to accurately pick and organize customer furniture orders.
• Use scan guns to verify and track inventory.
• Load and unload furniture safely onto pallets.
• Work closely with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues immediately.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with warehouse/distribution center experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work inside the warehouse and occasionally outside in varying weather conditions.
• Experience using a scan gun.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Forklift or machine operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to work required shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse/distribution center environment with temperature variations (extreme heat, cold, humidity).
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms for machine operation and computer use.
• Clear communication skills to provide and receive instructions.
