Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and safety standards.
- Load and unload shipments quickly and accurately using equipment such as pallet jacks and barcode scanners for logistics.
- Maintains clean work area. Pallet building and pallet picks
- Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked. Loading/Unloading/Receiving.
- Pick orders efficiently using order picker tools while maintaining accuracy in inventory management systems.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Manage inventory levels by tracking stock movements within the warehouse management system (WMS) and performing regular stock counts.
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage.
- Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting and materials handling to prevent injury and ensure safety standards are met.
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, load & unload operations, shipping & receiving.
- Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting forklift or heavy equipment issues.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy.
Experience: Previous warehouse experience. Prior experience as a forklift operator. Forklift certification.
Required: High school graduate or equivalent, plus minimum of 1 year experience.

Physical and Environmental Elements:
This is primarily a warehouse classification, and employees work in a warehouse with moderate noise levels, uncontrolled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. The position bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls objects to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries items that can weigh 5-75 pounds
This position is fully onsite at our Santa Fe Springs, CA location and has a pay range of $18.00-$19.00 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
