Compensation Range: $63,000 - $94,600

What You’ll Do:
- Oversees daily activities of satellite terminal location to maximize custom service and utilization of resources.
- Performs all necessary supervisory functions to effectively manage assigned personnel
- Maintains a qualified staff
- Communicates areas of accountability and performance expectations
- Determines standards of performance as a basis to review progress of assigned personnel
- Recommends salary adjustments transfers promotions and dismissals.
- Ensures proper training of assigned personnel
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate to maximize employee morale and productivity.
- Interfaces with management of individual business units to ensure smooth coordination of the efforts between HQ and service center operations, provides local leadership to facilitate attainment of corporate goals and objectives.
- Directs the implementation and execution of policies and practices throughout the terminal location.
- Ensures all areas managed are compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Continues to improve the processes, which are measured by profitability and growth.
- Performance management and coaching of direct and indirect reports.
- Reviews ongoing performance results to targets, take corrective measures with authorization, and escalate as needed.
- Oversees terminal’s budget to ensure compliance with company expenditure requirements.
- Projects a favorable image of the company within the local community to promote its aims and objectives.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- May include other duties as assigned by Management.
What We’re Looking For:
Education
- Any combination or education or experience equivalent to a four-year degree.
Experience
- 5 years in the transportation industry including supervisory responsibilities.
Skills/Certifications
- Proven leadership skills: the ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, problem analysis and problem resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
- Comprehensive knowledge of DOL regulations.
