Total Tennis Academy is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Tennis Instructors to join our team!
We partner with local Parks & Recreation departments to provide fun, high-quality tennis programs for youth and adults in a supportive outdoor environment. If you love tennis, enjoy teaching, and want to make a positive impact in the community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour Location: In-person (local park programs) Position: Part-time tennis instructor
Openings for different types of classes
- Summer camps
- Tennis group classes
What You’ll Do
- Teach Parks & Recreation tennis classes for youth and adults
- Create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment
- Teach proper technique, footwork, rally skills, scoring, and sportsmanship
- Manage class flow and group dynamics
- Communicate with parents and participants when needed
- Set up and organize equipment while maintaining a safe court environment
- Represent Total Tennis Academy professionally during park-run classes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camps, recreation, etc.)
- Tennis playing or teaching background preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to lead small classes of 2–8 participants
- Ability to adapt lessons for different ages and skill levels
Bonus if you have experience in other sports, recreation programs, or customer service!
