What you’ll do:
- Haul Amazon loads; 100% no-touch freight (drop and hook only)
- Operate new, modern and state of the art Amazon-branded sleeper cabs with APU
- Regional routes from and to Amazon facilities
- Follow all DOT & FMCSA regulations, as well as state/local laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Play a key role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place
What you’ll need:
- Must be minimum 21 years old
- Have a valid Class A CDL
- Must successfully Pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screen
- DOT Medical Card (current)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- No current CDL suspension or revocation
- No failed or refused DOT drug/alcohol tests in the last 5 years
- Clean MVR, PSP and good DAC Report
- Successfully pass a background check
- Comfortable using handheld technology GPS, ELD and smart phone applications (Android)
- Work authorization – must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred)
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
