Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support and ensuring smooth communication between our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong organizational skills, and have experience in a medical office setting.

Duties

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage medical scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
  • Handle medical collections and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Perform 10 key typing for patient records and data entry tasks.
  • File documents accurately while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  • Assist with medical coding, including familiarity with ICD-9 codes.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages as needed.
  • Support the administrative team with various tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role, preferably in a medical environment.
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling processes and terminology.
  • Familiarity with Medicare procedures and medical collections is preferred.
  • Proficient in 10 key typing and general computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
