Part Time Janitorial Floater

Job Summary

The Janitorial Floater provides coverage for call-offs, urgent needs, and open shifts across multiple commercial locations in Lancaster, York, Reading, Harrisburg, and Lebanon. This is a hands-on cleaning role with premium pay to compensate for travel, flexibility, and last-minute availability. Hours vary week-to-week based on staff absences and client needs. Applicants must live central to the service area to ensure fast response times and reliable coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for call-offs, open shifts, and urgent cleaning needs
• Perform general cleaning duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom cleaning
• Follow company cleaning standards and safety
• Must live central to the service area (required)
• Janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel between Lancaster, York, Reading, Harrisburg, and Lebanon
• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with last-minute calls
• Able to work independently at various client locations

Compensation & Incentives

• Drive time paid between job sites

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
