Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop Industrial Hygienists and field technicians.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee development plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee field assessments including chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic exposure evaluations.
- Review and validate sampling data, exposure assessments, and technical reports.
- Ensure proper implementation of hazard control measures and corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise in areas such as air monitoring, ventilation, noise, heat stress, and radiation protection.
- Serve as primary point of contact for key client accounts related to industrial hygiene services.
- Ensure timely delivery of services, reports, and corrective action recommendations.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal development and client relationship management.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, EPA).
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure documentation meets regulatory and company standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes for fieldwork and reporting.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Develop and deliver training programs on industrial hygiene practices and workplace safety.
- Mentor team members on technical skills, data interpretation, and client interaction.
- Support onboarding and continuous training initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for industrial hygiene services.
- Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and equipment utilization.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment to meet operational goals.
- 5 years of industrial hygiene experience in industrial, petrochemical, refining, or related industries.
- 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and exposure assessment methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with client interaction, reporting, and project management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- While performing the duties of this job, is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
