Key Responsibilities
Cost Tracking & Analysis
• Monitor project and service order costs daily.
• Verify job cost accuracy and correct discrepancies.
• Evaluate cost trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate to forecast costs and labor needs.
Perform other duties and assist other employees, as assigned by management
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist with budgets and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Analyze variances and flag deviations.
• Prepare cost projections and margin analyses.
Billing & Revenue Support
• Ensure accurate coding and billing.
• Partner to ensure timely invoicing.
• Review work orders and invoices for accuracy.
Operational Support
• Support managers in understanding cost structures.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Participate in weekly project reviews.
Reporting
• Generate cost control reports.
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs.
Qualifications Required:
• 2–4 years of cost control or project accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of job costing and forecasting.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
• High attention to detail.
Preferred:
• Experience in fire protection or industrial safety environments.
• Knowledge of field service operations.
