We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless project completion
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of building codes and safety standards
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipe threading, welding, and schematic interpretation
• Skilled in using hand tools (wrenches, pipe cutters) and power tools (drills, saws) effectively on job sites
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks in various environments
• Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance work, and field service operations
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work; carpentry experience is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for site travel; handyman experience or assembly skills are advantageous
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices including heavy lifting techniques and hazard recognition
