Assistant Manager – Part-Time (Evening Shift)
Location: Bismarck, ND
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Hours: 18–30 hours per week (Monday–Friday evenings)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
We are a family-owned business with over 40 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry. We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, oversee facility upkeep, and support daily operations.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, scrubbers, pressure washers)
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials
- Inspect facilities, report maintenance needs, and ensure quality standards
- Support operations by hiring, training, and supervising staff, ordering supplies, covering shifts when needed, and monitoring budgeted hours
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 or older with a clean background check (required by the customer)
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance preferred (but we will train the right person)
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Schedule & Setting
- Evening shift, Monday–Friday
- Work in an office and mixed commercial setting
- Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Bismarck, ND before starting work
