Our valued client, First Secure Community Bank, is looking for a Universal Banker to join their team!
About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of previous related Banker experience, a desire to provide top-notch customer service, build lasting relationships, and make a difference by contributing to the overall success of the organization.
As a Universal Banker, you will be on the front lines of developing and maintaining retail banking business for prospective and existing customers. Your responsibilities will include implementing banking concepts through the recommendation and handling of deposit accounts, retail services, loans, and other banking services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete knowledge of Teller Line duties as part of the Universal Banker role.
- Represent the Bank in a positive, courteous, and professional manner.
- Provide quality customer service to existing and new customer relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of Bank products and services in order to recommend appropriate products and services to customers.
- Responsible for expanding existing customer relationships and developing new business by proactively offering customers a full range of products and services.
- Utilize computer systems to enter and retrieve information effectively.
- Perform all required maintenance on accounts.
- Understand guidelines regarding when and how to complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and request assistance and review prior to completing them when necessary.
- Comply with override and review decisions in accordance with Bank procedures.
- Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds as outlined by policy.
- Participate in dual-control procedures for vault transactions, night deposits, and ATM machines.
- Comply with security procedures established to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
- Encourage and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Comply with the Bank's policies and procedures.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations, including compliance requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Universal Banker: 2 years (Required)
- Bank Teller: 3 years (Required)
- Ability to commute to Sugar Grove, IL 60554 (Required)
