SUMMARY:
Join our team at Total Quality Assurance (TQA), a company with over 65 years of Quality Management experience in the automotive industry. We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor. We are looking for 1st shift applicants (M-F 6h:30am-3pm). Overtime is required as needed, Saturdays typically are expected. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various warehouse operations, ensuring the maintenance of company assets, and leading a team to meet their goals. This is a fast-paced, physical role.
Responsibilities
- Show up on time and ready to work each day.
- Check GM schedule and put inspectors where they are needed on the floor
- Perform quality inspections
- Complete inspection sheets
- Turn inspection sheets in at the end of each day
- Monitor and restock cart supplies
- Handle staff issues and report to HR
- Ensure that all materials are returned to designated area at the end of shift
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and audit inventory daily.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Access database.
- Knowledge of automotive products to perform quality controls.
- Ability to take direction and train employees
- Knowledge in various warehouse storage strategies.
- Forklift experience required
Offered compensation: $28/hr
