This role is critical for ensuring compliance with mortgage industry regulations and internal controls. Responsibilities / Functions:Research incoming inquiries and properly post to the applicable ledger accountEnter and analyze incoming loan related receivables and payables for entry into accounting softwareAbility to research and respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely mannerReach out to customers and third parties regarding stale paymentsAbility to communicate with internal and external parties to obtain W9’s, invoices, and other necessary backup for entry and compliance requirementsProvide other accounting support as neededPersonal Traits / Competencies:Strong customer service skillsStrategic and tactical thinker with strong organizational and problem resolution skills.Effective communicatorAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Technical / Computer Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office.
