Overview
We are seeking dynamic and energetic Producers specialized in Live Sports Streaming to cover Athens and Waverly!
Key Responsibilities
- Attend weekly production meetings and participate in broadcast planning and preparation.
- Transport production and streaming equipment from the station to event locations.
- Coordinate with the Camera Operator to set up cameras, streaming hardware, audio equipment, and other broadcast assets before each event.
- Conduct pre-event equipment checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Monitor the live stream throughout the event to maintain broadcast quality and resolve issues as they arise.
- Operate live graphics, scoreboards, lower thirds, advertisements, and other on-screen elements during broadcasts.
- Maintain constant communication with the Stream Monitor and station personnel to ensure smooth broadcast operations.
- Direct and guide the Camera Operator regarding shot selection, framing, and coverage throughout the event.
- Troubleshoot technical or production issues in real time to minimize disruptions.
- Tear down and pack all equipment following the event.
- Return equipment to the station and ensure it is properly stored and prepared for future broadcasts.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules based on game schedules.
- Experience with live streaming, broadcast production, or sports media preferred.
- Basic knowledge of video production equipment, streaming software, and live graphics systems.
- Ability to lift, transport, and set up production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in live-event environments.
