Position: Experienced Press Brake Operator
Job Type: Full-Time
Must have minimum of 1 year of press brake operating and setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes, reading blueprints, and producing high-quality precision metal parts while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Select the correct tooling and perform machine setups.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain part accuracy and production efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- CNC programming experience is a plus.
