What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Total Management Systems?
We're looking for a hardworking Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running clean and smooth at Volare Rooftop Bar in the Element by Westin. This role supports the culinary team by cleaning, organizing, and ensuring food safety behind the scenes.
As a Dishwasher, you are an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of our dishware, utensils, equipment, and kitchen workspaces. Your work ensures that both the kitchen and dining teams can function efficiently and deliver excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils inspecting for both cleanliness and damage
• Sanitize food prep areas and equipment
• Support kitchen prep as needed with food preparation as directed by the Food & Beverage Manager
• Maintain cleanliness in dish station and other areas of the kitchen as assigned
• Follow proper hygiene, food safety standards and proper food safety storage methods
• Assist with deep-cleaning and other special cleaning projects as scheduled or assigned
Must-Haves:
• Stand/walk for full shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in hot, wet environments
• Food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
Nice-to-Haves:
• Previous dishwashing/kitchen experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
