**This is a seasonal position.**
Summary: Keeps public premises of transit areas in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Pay Rate: $24.70/hourly
Required Experiences/Skillset:
- Janitorial background
Proof of skillset certifications encouraged
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned areas.
- Wipes and dusts surfaces.
- Sweeps, mops, and Vacuums floors. Shampoos rugs.
- Power washes station floors and walls.
- Stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
- Picks up and empties trash containers.
- Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly or is in disrepair.
- Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills:
Technical skills necessary to utilize a tablet or smartphone.
