Job Summary
We are seeking a a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Part-Time Certified Bookkeeper to join our team. (Could turn into full-time)We are looking for an experienced individual who takes pride in accuracy, maintains confidentiality, and can work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Prepare and file E-500 Sales & Use Tax Returns
- Prepare and file state and federal withholding tax reports
- Record and post journal entries
- Reconcile and manage Capital One credit card transactions and expenditures
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
- Knowledge of sales tax, withholding taxes, and general accounting principles
- Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
