Responsibilities
- Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, skid steers, mowers, power tools, and hand tools to execute various landscape projects efficiently and safely.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to enhance aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical knowledge to ensure longevity and safety.
- Contribute to snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is highly preferred; familiarity with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment like excavators safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
