Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Florham park and Berkeley Heights, NJ, for an Occupational Therapy Assistant. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will be responsible for assisting with implementing treatment plans, providing hands-on patient care, supporting rehabilitation efforts, and aiding with program development. They will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver tailored therapeutic services that align with the patients' goals and needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices and techniques
- Experience in Rehabilitation and Patient Care, with a patient-first approach
- Ability to contribute to Program Development and individualized care plans
- Experience or comfort providing Home Care services is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure or certification as required in New Jersey
- CPR certification is a plus
