What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Purchasing Agent position at Total Floors, Inc.?
Total Floors, Inc is a flooring & cabinet company based in Denver and we are looking for a friendly and capable part time Purchasing Agent to place and track orders with our numerous vendors necessary for our business. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking skills, and is a great communicator.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process payments for customer transactions
- Converting Quotes into Orders and creating Purchase Order’s to place orders with Vendors via phone, email, and online portals
- Reviewing orders for accuracy
- Interact with customers, sales staff, and administration to ensure all orders are completed as needed and on time.
- Track orders from ordering to arrival, and communicate with the sales staff when issues arise with the status of an order
Additional Responsibilities:
- Updating price sheets in CRM as needed
- Proper & timely filing of paperwork related to orders using established filing system
Requirements:
- Previous Admin and/or purchasing experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Highly proficient computer skills, especially with MS Outlook, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat/PDF & Internet browsers
- Positive attitude with a desire to work in a busy and fast paced setting.
- Flexible, adaptable and excel in a teamwork setting
- A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work during normal operating hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Saturday
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
