What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Total Eyecare?
Total Eyecare is a private Optometric practice with four locations in North Jersey that offers high quality patient care. We are looking to expand our team and currently have full time positions available.
As an Optometric Technician in our practice, your responsibilities include preforming preliminary testing, basic vision assessments, recording medical and ocular histories, training instructions for the insertion and removal of contact lenses, preparing the examination area, scheduling appointments, answering calls and verifying insurances.
Qualified candidates are required to have strong customer service skills, comfortable giving instructions, able to multi task and possess time management skills. Must be self motivated and detailed oriented with a professional attitude and appearance.
Compensation will be based on level of experience.
Must be available to work nights and weekends.
