We are a stable, growing electrical contracting company located in the Livingston/Bozeman, MT area. Our employees live in the Livingston or the Bozeman/Belgrade, MT areas and work in the Bozeman/Big Sky areas. Locally owned and operated, our goal is to ensure our work is of the highest quality every time, without fail.

Total Electric has never had a layoff, EVER. Total Electric has steady, year-round work. We work hard to have consistent work and growth potential for the future. We often pick up guys from other electrical contractors when they don’t have enough work to keep them busy.

Our electricians are responsible for performing all aspects of electrical work - from high-end residential homes to design-build commercial environments, from service work to lighting control systems. Our electricians and apprentices regularly tell us that they learn something new every day and the challenges of the changing technology keeps them engaged and excited about their work.

Our Service Electricians are the face of Total Electric to our residential and commercial customers and play a huge role in word of mouth advertising and repeat customer..

These customer-service oriented electricians support our customers through consultation to help troubleshoot problems, identify potential solutions, conduct necessary testing and equipment repair/maintenance to insure compliance with applicable standards, and work hard to reach the best possible resolution for the customer. They will always do their absolute best to adhere to the schedule as they know a customer’s time is important – but they are wired to deliver quality, and they won’t compromise.
