What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motor Technician position at Total Directional?
Motor Tech in our Casper, WY Motor Shop. This Motor Technician is responsible and accountable for repair and maintenance of tool strings. Must be available to work nights (12pm - 8pm), weekends and overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Oil & Gas experience and knowledge is a plus
- Must live within commute distance of our Casper Motor Shop
- Valid Drivers License
- Computer Competency
- Previous forklift and overhead crane experience
- Troubleshooting
- Good verbal communication skills
- Assist in preparing and loading jobs in addition to cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment.
- Operate machinery when needed
- Clean, service, and refurbish tools as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- 1-2 years Motor Tech experience required
- 1-2 years Breakout experience preferred
- Computer Skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Troubleshooting
- Consistent use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Pay for this position depends on experience.
