Position Overview
Our Technical Services Department is the backbone of the services end of our operation. The Drug Testing Technician role is responsible for administering and overseeing substance abuse testing operations including observed drug testing, inventory, processing and chain of custody operations in their designated territory. This position interacts with courts and agencies as well as clients that have been required to participate in a court-ordered community supervision monitoring program. The ideal candidate is someone from corrections or law enforcement, students in college studying law enforcement, criminology, psychology or sociology, or someone with similar desire and background. There is a great deal of upward mobility possible as we continue to expand our operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer substance abuse testing
- Being in closed quarters with individuals performing substance abuse testing
- Inventory management of equipment and supplies
- Operational reporting, collection of fees, and bank deposits

Education, Training, & Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Understanding of drug testing standards and practices is a plus
- Experience with in-person client service
- Clean driving record and no alcohol related offense permitted
- No criminal record
Hours & Compensation:
Based on current arrangements, the hours are estimated to be 3 hours per shift, 12 days per month with potential and opportunity to increase. It is a part time position unless or until determined otherwise. There may be travel required to neighboring counties as the program and participation expands. Base/starting salary is $15-16.00 per hour as determined by previous experience and can be reconsidered based on performance indicators.
Location:
This position is a field position that covers a single company location in Wabash, IN. We are currently only open to the candidates living in this area.
Training:
We currently work with multiple different technologies and continue to add products to our mix. Training on all systems is provided during the onboarding process by manufacturer reps or our in-house staff. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
