Job Skills / Requirements

START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience. Schedule and Location: Miami Beach - Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 10:30pm (25hours/ Weekly).

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Janitorial Area Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across assigned accounts. This role ensures high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while leading and supporting cleaning teams. The Janitorial Area Supervisor works closely with the Area Manager and plays a key role in operational success and client retention.

What You'll Do:

• Report daily to the Area Manager for assignments and to communicate updates or issues.
• Supervise and organize cleaning staff to ensure proper coverage at all assigned sites and shifts.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are met and ensure immediate corrective actions.
• Ensure all contracted services are completed as scheduled and meet client expectations.
• Train, coach, and develop cleaning staff; ensure all required orientation and training are completed prior to starting work.
• Provide hands-on operational support and cover shifts during staff absences when needed.
• Submit nightly reports with updates, findings, and identified issues.
• Review timesheets and exception reports daily.
• Manage and maintain inventory of supplies, coordinate delivery of supplies to smaller accounts.
• Inspect equipment, janitorial closets, and ensure proper labeling of all chemical containers.
• Promote a safe work environment and conduct documented safety meetings.
• Ensure employees wear proper uniforms, ID badges, and required safety gear at all times.
• Assist with hiring, transfers, terminations, and employee-related matters in collaboration with HR.
• Coordinate special projects and support the management team as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of janitorial supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible availability (days, nights, weekends, on-call).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong safety awareness and proactive leadership approach.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and able to perform extended walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Capable of working on feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
