Job Skills / Requirements
Position Summary
The EVS Specialist (Floater) provides operational support for Nicklaus Children's Hospital NCH and NCPS accounts. This position ensures uninterrupted service by covering employee absences, vacancies, vacations, weekends, and special projects.
Essential Responsibilities
- Cover employee PTO, callouts, and open positions.
- Travel between assigned locations as needed.
- Perform routine and detail cleaning following standards.
- Assist with floor crew and training new employees.
- Complete special cleaning projects.
- Respond to emergency operational needs.
- Maintain communication with Supervisors and Managers.
- Follow all company safety policies and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel between multiple facilities.
- Flexible schedule, including rotating weekends.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
Schedule
- Full-Time (40 Hour per week)
- Flexible schedule based on operational needs.
- Rotating weekend coverage.
Reports To
- Operations Department, directly to EVS Manager / Supervisor
Education Requirements (All)
High School or GED
