Job Skills / Requirements

START IMMEDIATELY - Custodian Day Porter Technician with Janitorial Experience. 

Schedule and Location: Boca Raton - Monday & Thursday 6am-10:30am AND Tuesday 11:30am-2:30pm - Wednesday 7am-10am - Thursday 11am-2pm (18hrs/weekly).

We are looking for a Custodian Day Porter Technician that is dedicated, detailed and passionate about delivering exceptional quality to one of Boca Raton's most beautiful resorts.  You must be comfortable walking for extended periods of time since this is a large property.

What You'll Do:

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures. 
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols. 
• Dust, mop and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms and restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms. 
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles. 
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable. 
• Shut off all lights if required. 
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Other duties as needed based on scope of work.  

What We're Looking For: 

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience. 
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.  
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Must maintain a strong awareness of safety at all times.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting,
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
