Total Care Services, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Trained Medication Employee to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide person-centered care, support, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our aim is to empower them to live the life they want - at home, in the community, and at work. You will work closely with individuals, their families, and our team to ensure that their needs, goals, and choices are met. We have DSP openings in the departments of Residential Habilitation, Supported Living, Respite, Host Home residential services, and Day Program Services. Responsibilities:
- Provide care based on the individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and plan of care
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as grooming, meal preparation, and laundry
- Ensure the overall health, safety, and well-being of the individuals
- Administer medications under the direction of an RN - Attend and complete all mandatory training
- Attend religious, social, and recreational activities with individuals
- Maintain records and complete incident reports in a timely fashion
- Comply with all Total Care Services, Inc. policies and regulations
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- Trained Medication Employee Certification (Required).
- Physical within the last 90-days and must be completed annually.
Must be fully vaccinated and pass all pre-employment qualifications.
