Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa, a growing, well-established spa in Wayne NJ specializing in facials, massage, lymphatic drainage, body sculpting and waxing, has a unique opportunity for recently-graduated and NJ-licensed skin care specialists who are bilingual (Spanish-English).
Total Body's core clientele is made up mostly of upper-middle-class and affluent women aged 35-70.
As a Skin Care Apprentice and Spa Assistant, you will bring new energy and enthusiasm to our growing business, gaining on-the-job training while working as the technical assistant to our skin care team as well our founder, an esthetician and massage therapist with 30 years of experience. This position will provide you with an amazing opportunity to gain advanced skin-care knowledge and experience by observing and performing facials in our spa.
When not assisting in the treatment room, you will be on your feet and active, with our entire staff looking to you to carry out and aid in tasks that are supportive to the smooth functioning of our spa.
This will include readying/turning over treatment rooms, prepping machines, stocking shelves, washing and folding laundry, clearing sheets and keeping common areas clean and organized, and creating and helping to manage our social media presence.
Within a few months, your appreciation for the fast-paced world of spas will grow exponentially.
Over time, we hope that you will grow into a full-time esthetician at Total Body, performing classic and advanced facials, waxing and body sculpting treatments alongside our skilled estheticians.

Preferred experience/background:
NJ Skin Care Specialist License required. Some work experience a plus.
