Total Balance Therapy is an outpatient occupational and physical therapy clinic dedicated to providing individualized, one-on-one care in a fun, supportive, and family-centered environment. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team and help children reach their highest level of independence and function.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of developmental, sensory, neurological, orthopedic, and functional challenges. You will create individualized treatment plans that promote participation in everyday activities, improve fine and gross motor skills, support sensory processing, and enhance each child's overall quality of life. You will also work closely with families and caregivers to provide education and strategies that encourage progress beyond the clinic.
Whether you are an experienced clinician or a new graduate, Total Balance Therapy is committed to your success. New graduates will receive mentorship and support as they transition into managing a full clinical caseload, and all therapists are encouraged to pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Offer treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills
- Proven work or clinical experience as a pediatric occupational therapist
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow

- Ability to work with a team to provide holistic patient care
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
