- Execute and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
- Inform the Lead Mechanic of any unusual situations that demand schedule changes or additional technical assistance.
- Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, overseeing stock levels and securing necessary spares for repairs.
- Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at field bases.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, and certify that aircraft maintenance complies with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
- Accurately log maintenance details in RAMCO and communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic and other stakeholders.
- Manage parts inventory and suggest inventory-level changes as necessary.
- Maintain special tools, ensuring timely calibration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the company's mission.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic.
- Basic communication and computer skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
- Skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
- Willingness to travel frequently with potential short notice.
- Ability to work night shifts as maintenance events require.
