About the Opportunity:
Join our client, a leader in the aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry, located at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, Texas. As an MRO Quality Inspector, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in supporting business aircraft. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engines, components, and systems for FAA and customer compliance.
- Review work orders, task cards, and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify the use of current manufacturer manuals, FAA-approved data, and required technical documentation.
- Ensure parts meet identity, traceability, certification, and installation eligibility requirements.
- Document and resolve discrepancies and nonconforming work.
- Support quality investigations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Technicians, Crew Chiefs, Maintenance Management, and Engineering teams.
- Maintain inspection stamps, authorizations, and quality records.
- Support audits and major repair activities.
Requirements
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance, inspection, or quality experience.
- Required experience in FAA Part 145 repair-station operations.
- Proficiency in 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145.
- Strong understanding of maintenance recordkeeping and airworthiness requirements.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical data and identify nonconforming work.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required.
- Business jet and Part 135 experience preferred.
