Total Offroad & More is seeking an experienced Business Controller to join our team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a background in Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) growth companies. The Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, company growth, and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing day-to-day accounting
· Provide accurate financial reporting and financial information for decision making
· Be involved with budgeting, and forecasting
· Ensuring compliance with State and Federal tax laws
· Collaborating with external finance and legal partners
· Overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll
· Manage all bank account postings and reconciliations
· Generating and analyzing monthly and annual financial reports
· Monitoring and controlling inventory shrinkage and cost reduction strategies

Role Expectations & Performance Goals
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Leadership & Accountability: Work closely with the Leadership Team to establish financial goals, maintain internal controls, and drive profitability.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, implement, and continuously refine financial models, ensuring the company remains on track to meet financial objectives.
· Reporting & Analysis: Generate accurate and timely financial reports, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and best practices to mitigate financial risks.
· Operational Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize cash flow, and improve overall financial health.
Year-One Performance Objectives
· Deliver reliable financial reports within 8-10 days of monthly, quarterly, and annual close dates.
· Develop and manage company budgets, adjusting forecasts as needed.
· Maintain inventory shrinkage at 1% or less.
· Keep accounts receivable within 60 days or less.
· Identify opportunities to lower company costs and improve financial efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
