The ideal candidate will have experience managing large infrastructure or construction projects with multiple stakeholders. Reporting Structure: - Reports to the Project Manager / Director Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Professional certification (PMP, PMC-LS, or similar) is preferred. - Designs and implements integrated project controls systems combining schedule, cost, and risk
- Develops and maintains comprehensive, resource-loaded schedules for complex projects
- Performs resource optimization and resolves complex resource conflicts
- Conducts sophisticated financial analyses including probabilistic cost forecasting and cash flow modeling
- Creates customized reporting dashboards and metrics providing real-time project insights
- Develops and maintains schedule baselines and tracks project progress against approved schedules
- Identifies schedule risks, float management, and critical path optimization opportunities - Strategic Risk & Controls Management
- Develops and implements comprehensive risk management frameworks for schedule performance
- Performs quantitative risk analysis using Monte Carlo and other advanced scheduling techniques
- Manages project stakeholder communications regarding schedule performance and impacts
- Analyzes schedule variance and recommends corrective actions Mentorship & Process Improvement
- Serves as primary technical advisor to project managers on scheduling and controls matters
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives for project controls processes, tools, and methodologies
- Mentors Project Controls Specialists, providing technical guidance and professional development
- Develops training materials and leads schedule management training sessions
- Establishes and documents scheduling best practices and standards Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency with project management software including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
