What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Tosca?
About the Company
Tosca is dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the logistics sector, focusing on sustainability and efficiency in the management of reusable assets.
About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll own the coordination of reverse logistics operations, ensuring Tosca’s reusable assets are efficiently returned from retail locations to our service centers. You’ll support our retail and salvage partners by managing orders, tracking shipments, and monitoring performance using systems such as D365, Power BI, and the Tosca Hub Portal. We’re seeking a self-starter who can own their workload, ask thoughtful questions, and act independently without constant oversight. If you’re someone who slows down to research, spots patterns, and doesn’t shy away from a complex logistics puzzle, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Managing reverse logistics activities to ensure timely asset returns and adequate inventory at our service centers
- Monitoring cube utilization via Power BI and initiating conversations with shippers based on that data
- Supporting third-party logistics partners and reviewing linehaul/accessorial rates
- Tracking shipments in TMS and maintaining accurate records in D365 and other systems
- Participating in daily service center calls and taking ownership of follow-ups with collection sites and carriers
Qualifications
- A background in reverse logistics is a must
- 3–5 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
- Comfortable using Excel (basic data entry and tracking—not advanced formulas)
- Ability to interpret Power BI dashboards and use the insights to guide communication
- Strong communication and customer service skills via phone and email
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume email environment
- Proximity to Midtown Atlanta (this is a hybrid role, and commute time is a consideration)
Work Schedule
On-site Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday (company-paid parking). Regular in‑office presence is essential for effective team collaboration, engagement, and relationship‑building. Hybrid and remote work schedules typically consist of nine hours per day, five days per week, with a 60‑minute lunch break. Business needs may require occasional work outside standard hours, including on‑site attendance as needed to support the team and operational requirements.
