Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Hazleton team on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll help keep our service center running safely and efficiently by troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, supporting building maintenance needs, and partnering with operations to minimize downtime.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and manufacturing system issues in partnership with the operations team.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to support equipment reliability and safety.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Support building maintenance needs, including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and help develop long-term solutions with the maintenance team.
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Use CMMS and Microsoft Office to document work orders, track repairs, and support maintenance planning.
- Follow OSHA requirements, production safety practices, and Tosca safety standards.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of and adherence to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Support overtime or flexible hours as needed based on business needs.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or maintenance mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls.
- Electrical knowledge, including schematics, PLCs, 480V/3-phase systems, DC motors, AC drives, wiring, and control logic.
- Familiarity with boilers and MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $30.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Shift: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
