Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and remodeling team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, fabrication, and installation. This role involves working on diverse projects such as fixture installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and remodeling tasks. The will be responsible for executing detailed work with precision, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and reading schematics or blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction estimating to assist in project planning and material procurement
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including framing, caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing
• Install fixtures, cabinets, doors, and other structural components with attention to detail
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Fabricate custom components as needed for remodeling or manufacturing projects
• Execute construction painting and finishing work to meet quality standards
• Conduct remodeling activities such as drywall installation, painting, and surface preparation
• Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport and installation processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry, fabrication, or remodeling projects
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of fixture installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and trim carpentry
• Prior maintenance person experience or construction painting skills are highly desirable
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods
• Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites
